Kat Kou is an entrepreneurial artist who dabbles in various creative disciplines including her long-term career as a makeup artist, along with her latest writing ventures in Beauty & Business. With a strong background in stylish self-expression, Kat Kou has a creative flair for crafting pretty things.

Upon graduating Blanche MacDonald in 2006, her artistic roles with MAC Cosmetics, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, and Charlotte Tilbury allowed her to thrive in a fashion-forward environment with opportunities that never seemed possible.

With Kat Kou’s glamorous role as Charlotte Tilbury’s leading artist in Vancouver, she assisted the team by facilitating backstage workshops for celebrity-inspired makeovers, bridal parties, and other luxury events.

Today, Kat Kou continues to work on a number of cutting edge projects as an artist, a writer, and a TV & Film Educator for FilmLocal. She plays an active role as an advisory member for Women in Film & Television, a nonprofit organization dedicated to on-screen professionals.

Her work can be seen on numerous TV shows such as Riverdale, Altered Carbon, iZombie, The 100, and The Flash.

In addition to her ever-evolving endeavours, Kat Kou is also the founder of The Glossary; the indispensable playbook for sharp, stylish women. Created with a feminist approach, the publication was designed to inspire, encourage, and elevate the female spirit.
